CHURCH AWARDS

Preservation Dallas has named St.Paul UMC, located in the Arts District of downtown Dallas, a winner in its 12th annual Preservation Achievement Awards. St. Paul did an extensive restoration project in collaboration with Highland Park UMC. The Preservation Achievement Awards recognize outstanding projects involving the preservation, rehabilitation and enhancement of Dallas’ historic buildings and neighborhoods. An independent jury of preservation professionals selects the award winners from nominated properties.

PEACE with JUSTICE SUNDAY

TESTED: THE BOOK by Peyton Budd in collaboration with Dorothy Budd

Sunday, June 19th we celebrated, meet and heard the testimonies of men and fathers who were wrongfully imprisoned for years for crimes they did not commit. We meet with the authors of this extraordinary book that tells the stories of how these men, through their faith, held onto the hope that someday they would be proven innocent and set free. There was a book signing in the Welcome Center. CHURCH PICTORIAL DIRECTORY

We are looking for volunteers to help with the upcoming pictorial directory!! Three volunteers are needed to chair the Photography Sign-up, Telephone and Host/Hostess ministries. Please contact Mary Fehler or the church office if you are interested in helping. You can find Mary in the balcony each Sunday morning.

ALTAR FLOWERS

If you would like to participate in our Altar Flowers ministry, please consider donating flowers in celebration of a birthday, anniversary, graduation, or in memory of a loved one(s). Please contact Shirley Oliver or the church office to confirm your date for flowers.

APPORTIONMENT

Every 3rd & 5th Sunday, will be dedicated for a special offering to St. Paul's Connectional Apportionment giving which is determined by our Annual Conference. One of our apportionment goals is to support World Services conference benevolences that are allocated to programs and missions of the United Methodist Church. Please support our efforts to give to those in need around the world.
